Stock Projection Algorithm

What? It computes the projected stock trajectory of each part based on all the related producing and consuming events in a chronological order.

Why? It gives instant visibility to users on work order material coverage statuses to anticipate potential part shortages and address them before they strike.

Next Enablement Date Algorithm

What? When a work order is blocked due to a part shortage, the algorithm computes the next possible re-planning date where all the needed parts will be in stock based on their projected stock.

Why? It provides users with the ability to re-adjust their production plan according to supply chain constraints and make data-driven decisions on which work orders to release to optimize production capacity.

Pegging Algorithm

What? It connects and assigns producing events to consuming events based on planned dates in a first-in / first-out manner.

Why? It gives teams the visibility on the all the upstream and downstream events pegged to a specific event, which enables them to assess the root cause issue but also see potential customer impacts.

Pull-in/Push-out Algorithm

What? It provides recommendations to pull-in or to push-out purchase orders from suppliers based on real production needs.

Why? It allows supply chain teams to optimize and reduce their inventory levels based on real production needs but also to liberate capacity for suppliers when parts are not necessarily needed at the original planned delivery date.
